A Matt In A Box: there isn't any good way to approach a stranger is there?
NiteStar82: what do you mean
A Matt In A Box: like just trying to start a conversation with a complete stranger, er fellow campus-mate
NiteStar82: is it someone in your class or anything?
A Matt In A Box: oh no, this is a purely hypothetical situation
NiteStar82: where did that question come from?
A Matt In A Box: oh just a hypothetical situation I came up with in my head, you know...
NiteStar82: hmmmmmmmm
NiteStar82: you are very suspicious
A Matt In A Box: hahaha, who's suspicious? hahaha, not me!

Everyone! Think of good pick up lines for me to use and post them on the guestbook!

The Call of Cthulhu

It was a dark, stormy night in October... 1920. My name was Rick aka "12-guage." I was a private investigator. After a one night stand with a beautiful blonde bombshell I had decided to buy her a ring... so I headed immediately to the antique store. There I ran into this Spanish-American named Miguel (Deidra's Mike) who let me look around, at his rings. It was there that I ran into the religious zealot, Wilson (Matt) and an eccentric para-psychoanalyst named... something (Scott). Mike got a message from his cousin, there was a house, it needed cleaning out... so we all signed up for the job.

After a lot of investigating and some clue collecting and relic finding, we finally decended upon the house. With shotguns and elephant guns and lanterns we entered the evil-looking place, and searched the ground floor. We heard noises from upstairs, so we rushed up to see what had happened. We came to the room where the noises had come from, so I kicked the door open with my machismo and rushed in with Scott... to find a quiet room with a dresser and a bed with no mattress. I went to check out the dresser while Scott went to the window, as he heard some scratching. In a spark of brilliance, he decided to fire his sawed off through the window, which he did. At the same time, the bed rose up off the ground and smashing Scott against the wall once... twice... then smashed him through the window, and he fell two floors, bring him down to 2 hp.

The rest of us hit the dirt like we had cement blocks for asses, but I was still stuck in the room with the psycho bed. Luckily, as it was poised to strike, Wilson (Matt) stepped in with his elephant gun and blew the bed in two. What a way to make a bed.
Blood started oozing from the ground at this point so we got out of there pretty quickly, and decided to check out the basement, where this dead guy was supposed to be buried.

We went down the stairs, and found a crumming little place with lots of trash and a small room underneath the stairs. After some searching, Mike found a magical lookig knife, and was examining it when it suddenly woke up and started moving, ripped clean out of his hand, and started attacking us. Mike shot it once to no avail, so after some dodging we threw a jacket over it and tossed it into the room under the stairs, and locked the door. There was a wooden wall to our left, so I took Scott's hatchet (he had, at this point, recovered enough to follow us) and hacked a hole in the wall, letting lots of rats out. We climbed through into a small chamber where a corpse of a man was sprawled out on the floor, not decomposed, but apparently dead. Then Scott, with all of his resounding brilliance, shot at the body, and the damn thing woke up and attacked us.

The corpse crapped Scott by the throat and pinned him against the wall, and so I put my sawed off against its head and pulled the trigger. This barely made the thing blink, and so it tossed Scott into me and we both fell down. Wilson (Matt) failed his sanity check, so he started babbling like an idiot and stood there. Scott and I grabbed him and ran back into the basement room, while Mike threw his lantern right over the zombie's head, so we all ran. When I reached the main basement room I also failed my sanity check so I fainted, and so Scott dragged Wilson up the stairs while Mike pulled me up unconsious. The zombie came after us and released the sword once again, and Mike was stabbed in the back. We ran like girls to our cars and got the hell out of there.

Several days later, we came back.

Scott was still in the hospital, but the rest of us were ready. We went down there and attacked the zombie. Wilson tried to spear him against the wall, but got slashed by his claws instead. Mike threw a molotov cocktail at him, but forgot to light it and so he just got covered in gasoline. Mike then got slashed by the zombie, so we all took turns trying to light it up with some matches, until finally it caught fire... but it kept going. I stepped in at this point and tried some martial arts on it, to no avail... it was too quick. It pulled out the knife and had it fly at me, I dodged it, and realizing I was in for it, I pulled out my sawed off and took a final shot at the bastard, and dropped him like a stone. We all descended upon his deadness and hacked him to pieces.

I love roleplaying games.
