No, I'm not wandering around taking pictures of people in their beds, this is Scarlett Johansson, star of 'Lost in Translation' and my new biggest crush (well, second biggest).

Matt, Kyle and I saw the movie tonight, and I thought it was pretty damn amazing. I don't know how many of you have been overseas, to a non-English speaking country, but it perfectly captures the confusion of encountering a culture you don't understand... including the loneliness that comes with it. Bill Murray gave probably the best performance of his career, and Scarlett did a great job acting opposite him. The movie moves at a slow place, as the director Sofia Coppola walks with the actors around downtown Tokyo, but you can't help but feel just as alien as the characters do, out of place, disjointed from what they know best. But while they both miss and don't miss the US, they find what they need in each other. I'm not much good at reviewing, so I'll just stop there. Go see this movie sometime... or wait until I buy the dvd and watch it with me, which will be sometime soon, I guarantee it.

PS: The soundtrack is great too. Any soundtrack with Death In Vegas on it just plain rocks.
